A1 - Udon Thani Provincial Museum (Town Centre)
A2 - Prince Prajak Monument - Be careful it's actually a very busy round-about (Town Centre)
A3 - Nong Prajak Park just 3kms south of your accomodation and a very enjoyable day out for a picnic with lots of tree shade
A4 - Udon Sunshine Orchid Farm - is on the same road as The Retreat in NongSamRong, and just 2kms away from the hotel, they sell many perfumes and other items made from a special Orchid
A5 - Phu Ya Shrine (8kms)
A6 - Ban Na Kha (16kms)
A7 - Wat Pan Ban Tat (15kms)
A8 - Huai Luang Dam, very scenic (16kms)
A9 - Phu Phrabat Historical Park, much more amazing than Stonehenge (68kms)
A10 - Phra buddha Bat Bua Bok - not far from A9, but very hard to find (67kms)
A11 - Nam Tok Yung Forest Park (120kms)
A12 - Phra Phuttabat Bua Ban (62kms)
A13 - Ban Chiang National Museum - an ancient (500b.c.) achreological site (56kms)
A14 - Ban Kham Chanod (93kms)
A15 - Thangarn Water falls (45kms) - In the dry season very little water flows, you can walk the river bed and view the amazing rock formations, but go in the rainy season if you want to see real waterfalls. Whilst there drive another 5kms to Phu Foilom, a beautiful kept garden and dinosaur park, perched on a plateau with great views over Udon Thani
